“Brilliant location on the waterfront, port across the road to view cruise liners docking and easy 10 minutes walk to the beach. All historic and tourist attractions easy walking distance. Metro and bus stops around the corner. Friendly locals and everything on your doorstep, banks, supermarkets and so many cafes, restaurants and bars... wow!”

“Rooms were great, we’ve booked a suite and were very happy about it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities were great in the room, including ironing, hair dryers, minibars etc. also was spotless clean. Location is perfect for all the central attractions. There is a tiny pool at the roof, but don’t expect a proper stretching swim, it’s more of a cooling splash. The cocktails ar the roof are good.”

“We stayed for 5 nights in March 2026. The hotel is very well located and gets all the basics right. The room itself was very well sound-proofed (very important considering its location) had a comfy bed, and brilliant air-conditioning, keeping the room at a good constant temperature quietly. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was well-serviced daily. Our one disappointment was what has happened to the rooftop bar, which ironically, was our reason for choosing Room Mate Valeria from many previous wonderful visits. I do not want that experience to affect my rating for the hotel itself which we found to be good value for money. My review for the roof bar itself I will do separately for the Bar La Terraza, but worth noting if the bar itself is one of the key selling points of the hotel for you.”
